I love this icon. The colors are incredibly lush. The waves, look at them! --they're almost hypnotic! Even the shore invites this California missionary to trek into God's wilderness. But, I'm afraid sometimes. Instead of apostle Peter, that is my face, open, with the advent of understanding.
